CalmCore is a family-owned business founded by a U.S. Veteran and my wife, who is a licensed social worker. CalmCore specializes in providing research-based, 3D-printed stress relief tools and therapy kits. The business serves counselors, law enforcement professionals, educators, and corporate teams by offering affordable, high-quality resources designed to support mental wellness, social-emotional learning, and stress management.

Richard Eric Duffy is an Army veteran with a decade of leadership experience, guiding teams through high-pressure environments and complex problem-solving. His military background in supervision, crisis management, and mission readiness has equipped him with strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills—essential for supporting individuals facing mental health challenges.
Transitioning into civilian roles, Richard has gained experience in manufacturing, administration, and community service, demonstrating adaptability and dedication to helping others. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Walden University.
With his background in leadership, crisis response, and community support, Richard is well-positioned to bring empathy, structure, and problem-solving to the mental health field.

Deyanira (DeeDee) Duffy is a licensed social worker with over 13 years of experience serving at-risk youth, families, and individuals impacted by the foster care system, homelessness, and child exploitation. As Director of STEP UP Texas at STARRY, she leads a team providing trauma-informed care, case management, and life skills training.
DeeDee holds a Master of Social Work from Walden University and a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Texas-Pan American. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and certified in trauma-informed care, restorative practices, and human trafficking awareness.
Her expertise includes aftercare case management, workforce training, financial aid and higher education enrollment, and behavioral support. Previously, she served as a Team Supervisor and Family Support Specialist at STARRY Counseling and as PAL TWC Program Director at BCFS, supporting foster youth in their transition to independent living.
